Test System Comments

All memory was tested at CAS 2 with memory timings set to 2-2-2-5 within the BIOS with the voltage on each running at 2.8v (.3 over default spec) throughout our entire testings.

We choose to include a host of benchmarks that not only concentrate on memory but other aspects of your computer. We will find out if the difference in memory brands effect video performance or CPU performance, if at all.

None of the memory modules are Dual Channel branded specific modules.

SiSoft Sandra

SiSoft Sandra (the System ANalyser, Diagnostic and Reporting Assistant) 2001 is a synthetic windows benchmark that features different tests used to evaluate different PC subsystems.

- Sandra Memory Test Buffered

Mushkin takes the lead in the first test, of course this is only synthetic and we will see if it carries over into real world gaming tests.

- Sandra Memory Test Un-Buffered

In Un-Buffered tests which don't use any processor optimization and give us a truer indication of RAM performance, Kingmax takes the lead.
