Micron announces higher-speed 16Gb/16Gbps GDDR6 memory for AMD Radeon RX 6000 series GPUs, offers 512GB/sec memory bandwidth.

GDDR6 could reach up to 20Gbps of bandwidth, enough to beat the HBM2 on the Tesla V100.

Micron says it 'has not announced any plans involving GDDR6', but will release GDDR5X next year.
