Introduction

Any of numerous large-scale aggregates of stars, gas, and dust that constitute the universe, containing an average of 100 billion (1011) solar masses and ranging in diameter from 1,500 to 300,000 light-years.

That is probably what most of you would refer the term “Galaxy” to when you heard it but today we are referring it to one of our absolute favorite graphics cards at the moment the, nVidia’s GeForce 7800GTX 512MB.

Galaxy is a new brand for us here at TweakTown and are a Hong Kong based company that we should start seeing down here in Australia. The big thing about this card is the RRP that we have been given - at $999 Australian Dollars, this is the cheapest 512MB 7800GTX card that we have seen to date.

We find it hard to put the words “cheap” and “512MB 7800GTX” together. We will try and find out what the Galaxy 7800GTX 512MB does to make it separates itself from all the other 512MB cards which are sitting at almost $1100+ AUD.

Let’s have a look at what we like to call Galaxy 7800GTX 512MB – Making the 512MB GTX cheap.
