Doom 3 unlike Half Life 2 has always been favoring the nVidia camp thanks to the OpenGL optimization.
We can see that this is no doubt shown in the above results with the Galaxy 7800GTX 512MB out scoring the X1800XTs 1024 x 768 average with its 1600 x 1200 average.
