To give you an idea of how the memory compares against each other (DDR vs. DDR-2) we've ran a bunch of tests to show the attributes of the latency and memory speed (bandwidth).
Both sets of memory were tested at their default clock speeds and timings.
If you're buying OCZ memory, you're likely going to be overclocking it. So we've also included overclocked results as well. Let's get going!

SiSoft Sandra (System ANalyser, Diagnostic and Reporting Assistant) is a synthetic Windows benchmark that features different tests used to evaluate different PC subsystems.


As you would expect, the DDR-2 manages to tower over the DDR. When overclocked, the DDR memory manages to sneak up on DDR2.
