3DMark05 is the latest version in the popular 3DMark "Gamers Benchmark" series. It includes a complete set of DX9 benchmarks which tests Shader Model 2.0 and higher.

3DMark05 shows excellent increase in performance over the similar priced X850XT. We can see that the X1800XT is over 1000 marks quicker again though over the X1800XL.
