We will be comparing the X800GTO directly against the X800GT - we know that it is going to be faster but how much faster is what we really want to know. The 6600GT hasn't been included this time around as we know that the performance is similar to that of the X800GT, as you can see in this review.
The competing card is supposed to be the GeForce 6800XT but we haven't seen it yet and we aren't too sure what nVidia is doing with it as it might not be much more then a rumor.
We will be taking a similar approach to the X800GTO as we did with the ASUS 7800GTXs with doing our normal tests with and without AA/AF along with overclocking our processor and the graphics card to see what kind of performance increases we receive.

By combining full DX8 and partial DX9 support with completely new tests and graphics over the previous version, 3DMark03 continues the legacy of being the industry standard 3D benchmark.
Please Note: Due to recent events with the 3DMark03 series, we are adding results purely for those who are still in favor of 3DMark03. These results should not be taken too seriously and are only added for interest sakes.

We can see that in 3DMark03 we get a healthy performance jump over the X800GT in both the low and high resolution.
