Introduction

When it comes to memory, there are many names out there to look at. Some new and some old, but the number of choices is rather large. For those looking for a manufacturer with a long history of exceptional performance, those choices begin to winnow down a good deal.

Starting business in 1994 and based out of Denver, Colorado, Mushkin is one of those names that has been around for a while. Even when I first began getting into the enthusiast scene, the name “Mushkin” meant high performance memory. Our goal today is to see if the Redline series of memory module can live up to that reputation of quality and performance. Past history is a good indicator of what you might expect from a product, but we’re not going to let that make any impact on out testing.

So lets take a peek at this series of memory that is marketed directly toward the enthusiast and see if current performance can compare with past reputations.
