For the Do-it-Youselfers

But what about those who want to save a few dollars and aren't afraid to do a little cutting themselves? Then look no further than the Cool View Window Kit. It comes in two varieties; a pair of holes for 92mm fans, or a single hole for a 120mm fan. It has the same eight hex screws for holding it in the side of the case, the same shims for an airtight seal between window and case, and all the hardware necessary to complete the mod with no muss or fuss.

Another nice feature of the kit is the size. Measuring in at 9.25" x 12", it will easily fit into just about any case around. From mini-tower to mid-tower to full-tower, a fancy new window is only a few short and simple steps away. Add some neon lights and a little Glo-Wire and you've got a design that will intimidate all who get near it at your next LAN event.

Though the size is easy to use in any case size, it would have been a nice touch if different overall window sizes were offered. It shouldn't be too difficult to offer a bit larger window for those who want to mod a full tower rig.

Conclusion

Cooler Guys have done a pretty good job at making it easy for everyone to get into the Window-Mod game. For those who have ordered gotten Cooler Guys cases in the past and don't want to cut, just order a new side panel with the window already installed. For those who want to save a few bucks or are modding a case that didn't come from Cooler Guys, you can order one of the simple Cool View kits.

Also considering the amount of choices they have for you in regards to what size fans and what brand and airflow of the fans (yes…they carry those too), it's hard to look at other choices for your next mod.

Bottom Line...If you're looking at putting a window in your precious system, then take a serious look at this one. Simple, easy, and effective cooling options are an outstanding combination.

Pros

- Easy Mod

- Effective Cooling

- Looks Great
