GIGABYTE's X170-Extreme ECC is a solid performer. I found no performance pitfalls or any issues with any major subsystems. ECC memory doesn't seem to have taken a huge toll on performance either. Overall performance is where it should be; the motherboard doesn't show any performance defects.
