With all the CPUs running at 4GHz core, 3.5GHz cache, and 3200MHz C16 memory, we start to see how each microarchitecture stacks up. Skylake is obviously the fastest in single threaded performance, but it is quite obvious that the extra cores in the Haswell-E and Broadwell-E CPUs to help performance in multi-threaded applications. Since many applications are becoming more multithreaded, it's nice to see more and more cores.
