While Doom 3 is well and truly designed to make use of nVidia's GeForce 6 series you can see that at the lower resolution the X800XL and X850XT handle the game just fine.

 

Moving to the higher resolution you do see it change around a little with the 6600GT being able to even sneak ahead of the X800XL.
