I did expect these numbers for the mSATA of the NUC. In network and USB tests, the results were what I expected because I tested the i7 BRIX before which has almost identical hardware. The performance is solid, but nothing ground breaking.

 

I was a little surprised that the network and storage performance of the i5 BRIX wasn't as good as that in the i7 BRIX, considering they use the same WIFI/BT module.
