Final Thoughts

Looking at the Rapoo 3920P as it stands out of the box, for such a small mouse, we had no issues with grip, moving it around, or even the position of the buttons. Everything was as expected. The 3920P feels solid, it can take a fair bit of weight and still glide around, it can track on any surface we could find around the house, and it has an outstanding battery life with general usage. While we did get boned on the batteries again, for us it is not such a huge deal, but it is a fault. With a similar previous experience, we have to wonder: Are customers getting the Rapoo 3920P without batteries as well? We can't be the only ones.

As we started to think we were going to have to really dish it to Rapoo about the whole battery thing, we were doing some investigation on the matter, and read something about software. So, we had a look, and we found this extra little gem for the 3920P. Of course, we liked the 3920P before we tried this out, but even offering something as simple as basic keyboard functionality reassignment possibilities really spices things up.

The software definitely delivers more value to the mouse. While we strongly hope you take our advice and try the 3920P, at the same time, we hope that you are provided with all of the contents. These days, batteries can cost around $5 a pair; while that's not catastrophic, considering we already paid for them, it just doesn't make much sense to have to pay even more.

Right around $35 (price varies by location), we feel the Rapoo 3920P can, and will be a great companion on your travels. It allows for slight customization if you chose to install the software, it is surprisingly accurate, and the feel and movement were better than we expected. The 5GHz band for less cross talk between devices is also a great addition.

Overall, Rapoo has shown us that they are on top of their game, and can offer a fully functional and affordable mouse that even a five-year-old can stuff in their pockets. As far as travel mice go, this has to be one of the top three wireless mice that we have ever had our hands-on.

The Bottom Line: Rapoo's 3920P is perfect for those on the go with little room for a full-sized peripheral in the bag. The cost isn't bad, it functions very well, and is even customizable - it is just too bad they can't seem to find any batteries to include in the package.
