ASUS Z97I PLUS Mini-ITX (Intel Z97) Motherboard Review

By: Shawn Baker | Socket LGA 1150/1151 in Motherboards | Posted: Jun 3, 2014 9:02 pm
TweakTown Rating: 93%Manufacturer: ASUS

Memory Test - AIDA64

Version and / or Patch Used: 1.00.1035BETA

Looking above, you can see our ASUS Z97I PLUS lines up with the SABERTOOTH offering from ASUS, which sits a little behind our other boards here. When it comes to overclocking, you can see there's no real change, which is to be expected.

Gaming Test - 3DMark 8

Version and / or Patch Used: 1.0

Gaming Test – Sleeping Dogs

Version and / or Patch Used: Latest Steam Update

Looking above, you can see that 3DMark pretty much falls in line with our other setups. Overclocking sees a slight performance increase in the standard preset but very little overall.

Looking at Sleeping Dogs, you can see performance is strong out of the box, and overclocking brings a nice little boost to the lower resolutions. At the highest resolution, you see performance sits back just a little. Overall, the numbers are very strong with all of our setups here.
