Gigabyte does SiS - 655TX hits the shelves for Pentium 4 - Benchmarks - Test System Setup and SiSoft Sandra 2004

We have another Gigabyte motherboard on the test bench today in the form of the 8S655TX Ultra. It is based on the new SiS 655TX chipset for the Pentium 4 including Prescott. We compare against Intel 875P and VIA PT880.

SiSoft Sandra (the System ANalyser, Diagnostic and Reporting Assistant) 2004 is a synthetic windows benchmark that features different tests used to evaluate different PC subsystems.

 

 

 

 

Here we see both the PT880 and I875P Gigabyte motherboards are superior in memory performance compared to the 655TX.
