GeCube 9600 XT All in Wonder - HTPC for the Masses - Benchmarks - Quake III Arena

Today we have GeCube's brand new Radeon 9600 XT All in Wonder on the test bench. It offers the same features as the more expensive Radeon 9800 Pro AIW but at a price point more affordable for the masses.

Quake III Arena

Quake III Arena is a real-world OpenGL benchmark that we have been using here at TweakTown for quite a while now because it has proven itself to be one of the best gaming benchmarks around to compare a wide range of different products. Quake III is getting very old, but is still one of the best ways of testing video and PC systems for any instabilities and best performance.

While Quake 3 might separate the 2.8ns cards and the 3.3ns card a little bit more it is only more noticeable due to the increased frame rates. Instead of three FPS separating them it's 30 FPS. With these frames you wouldn't notice a difference between any of the cards anyway.
