TTIC NPH-201 Athlon XP Heatsink Review

TTIC is an upcoming company in the PC enthusiast cooling market. Today we are taking a look at their NPH-201 heatsink for the AMD Athlon XP processor. It offers a new technology called "Heat Column" which provides adequate cooling with low noise output with just a 70mm fan.

For those who have been deeply into cooling of late, the name TTIC may not be a familiar one. The initials actually stand for Thermal Transtech International Corporation and they specialize in heatpipe cooling methods for various uses. They also have a newer technology the called "Heat Column", but we'll delve a little deeper into this cooling method in a bit.


Their claim is that you can have high quality air cooling without the noise usually associated with it. This is a mighty big claim, so it will be interesting to see if they can pull it off.
