Desktop Test System

Lenovo W530 - Mobile Workstation

We use two systems for SSD testing. The desktop runs the majority of the tests, and the Lenovo W530 runs the notebook power tests as well as the real-world file transfer benchmark.

ATTO Baseline Performance

Version and / or Patch Used: 2.34

ATTO is a timeless benchmark used to provide manufactures with data used to market storage products.

The Vertex 460 120GB has lower peak write performance than the 240GB and 480GB models. We recorded a sequential write performance of 426 MB/s and a sequential read performance of 542 MB/s in ATTO.
