To get a more statistically hands on feel of the advantages brought forth by ASUS's FSB operation pre-set operation modes, we have included two top-of-the-line PC title FPS benchmarks: Halo PC and Call of Duty as well as 3DMark03 for further comparison.
3DMark03 is the latest version of the highly favoured 3DMark series. By combining full DirectX9.0 support with completely new tests and graphics, 3DMark03 continues the legacy of being industry standard benchmark.
Please Note: Due to recent events with the 3DMark03 series, we are adding results purely for those who are still in favor of 3DMark03. These results should not be taken too seriously and are only added for interest sakes.
Here we see Turbo 2 take the lead as we would expect, but not by a large margin.
When dealing with games, FSB timings truly directly reflect performance in frames per second (FPS), as notable in the benchmarks on this page.
Keeping in theory what I stated above, only a performance upgrade of one FPS is notable in Halo when incrementing the FSB by 1MHz.
Call of Duty
And, Call of Duty results nearly mirror those of Halo PC.
