Overclocking isn't always a benefit under Nexuiz, and while we don't have results for the reference R9 270X, you can see that the numbers here are almost in line with the lower-end R9 270, which gives us an idea that performance would've dropped back. Either way, the numbers would've continued to be too low across all resolutions to be playable.
