3DMark03 - Build 330

3DMark03 is the latest installment in the popular 3DMark series. By combining DirectX 9 support with completely new graphics (including the GeForce FX and ATI Radeon 9800), it continues to provide benchmark results that empower you to make informed hardware assessments.

Please Note: Due to recent events with the 3DMark03 series, we are adding results purely for those who are still in favor of 3DMark03. These results should not be taken too seriously and are only added for interest sakes.

Though some folks don't care for this benchmark program, we will include it for the sake of an overall testing suite. Given that all three cards are ATI based, any slanted results should still remain consistent throughout the tests run.

Our results in the 3DMark03 utility showed a bit more performance hit between the mid-range board and the high-end competitors, but the results are still at a level that make it hard to overlook a video board that is under half the cost of these other monsters. We see a 20% lower performance level compared to the 9700 Pro and about a 29% lower score with the 9800 Pro.
