The Dunia Engine was built specifically for Far Cry 2 by the award-winning Ubisoft Montreal development team. It delivers the most realistic destructible environments, amazing special effects such as dynamic fire propagation and storm effects, real-time night-and-day cycle, dynamic music system, non-scripted enemy A.I. and so much more.

Far Cry 2 already saw some strong FPS across the board and you can see that overclocking brings with it a bit more breathing room.

Overall, though, it's not really necessary as we manage to squeeze a 40 FPS minimum at 2560 x 1600 on the reference clocked card.

Please Note: We still include Far Cry 2 in our benchmarks (we know it's old) as a way for our readers to get a general representation of how older games perform on new hardware.
