SUMMARY: We've got the very latest ATX computer case under the spot light today from Lian Li. The PC-6077 includes a whooping total of six 5.25 bays which is more than most full tower cases and it's only a midi tower!
Lian Li use the same box throughout most of their case lines and each case is easily determined by a sticker stating its features and a picture of the case. Also on the box is a sticker stating the logo nice and boldly, in this case PC-6077. The box is excellent and you won’t have anything to worry about if you are getting the case shipped to you instead of picking it up. Thanks to the built-in handles, there shouldn’t be any need for it to be thrown around.
- What You Get
Moving away from the box and opening up we will have a quick look at what comes with the package. As you would expect, when opening up the box most of it is dominated by the case. Sitting on top was a leaflet showing off some of the other Lian Li models (which might not be the best thing). Nothing worse then opening it up and seeing something that you think looks better then what you just purchased - Like buying a new $20,000 car and when pulling out of the lot seeing a Ferrari drive by.
Opening up the case you notice the trademark white box that you receive which has all those extra screws that you always lose if you open up your case as much as we do. One of the most common items that not only gets lost but also stolen at LAN’s is your beloved thumb screws. While they are not too expensive, Lian Li use a different kind of thread so it’s not easy to find them for sale – so look after them. Lian Li don’t sell the thumb screws separately so if you do happened to lose then you will find yourself using ordinary screws again in no time.
The overall package on the Lian Li is excellent and because no part of the case directly contacts the box, if it does happened to get a few knocks in transit the worst thing that is going too happened is a few dents on the box.
