Introduction

I’m sure that you have all heard about the Orb coolers from Thermaltake. They have a distinctive look about them, and they appeal to a large crowd because of this. The tall ones like this Mini Super Orb have drawn comments from nearly all tech sites that I have been to. Some people love them, while others absolutely detest them.

The friendly folks from Cooler Guys were gracious enough to send me one of these controversial heatsinks to test out. it’s time to get ourselves a definitive answer to the question that has plagued tech sites for months…

Is the Mini Super Orb worth it’s weight, or is it just another pretty addition to your system?
