Code Creatures

Code Creatures is a Synthetic benchmark based on DirectX 8, which gives users the chance to see another highly involved benchmark program. Focusing on two elements, Grass and Water, video cards are stressed to the limit resulting in quite low scoring benchmarks. Users get to see a more intensive side of DirectX 8 thanks to the engine behind Code Creatures.

This series of tests were run at a 1024x768 resolution at a color depth of 32-bit. It is mostly video board dependant, so we should have similar results between platforms. A large difference in results will indicate a pretty bad problem.

And true to form, the KT600 managed to run neck and neck with the nForce2 board, even beating it out in the grass tests. Even so, the differences are remarkably slim.
