Comanche 4

Comanche 4 is a helicopter simulation using the DirectX 8.1 graphics interface. It is used to test the memory and 3D sub systems of a motherboard and video processor. Any weaknesses will show up through this intensive benchmark.

- 640 X 480 @ 32bit

At the lower resolution we see that both motherboards are very close together, this is due to Comanche 4 being quite an intense test on the video card.

- 1280 X 1024 @ 32bit

Moving to the higher resolution, we see exactly the same as we did in the lower resolution, both motherboards neck and neck with the frame rate actually being higher at this resolution for reasons unbeknown to us.
