When I began checking into market pricing for these enclosures, I was really kind of surprised to see the lighting effects that were included. After all, lighting has become one of the most popular modifications for enthusiasts and these lights cost money. Considering the low cost of these tested cases, I was rather impressed with the efforts made by Enermax to create an affordable pre-mod case design to the public.
So what are we waiting for, lets turn off the lights already and see what these babies look like in the dark!
As you can see, the LED used in the front panel is rather bright. I was able to easily throw shadow puppets on the back wall of the room with the light emitted from this thing.
You may have been seeing one of the newest fads recently being advertised; bubble lighting using Cold Cathode tubes. This offers an innovative lighting setup without any added heat. And while this was designed for case interiors, the method worked to advantage on the outside of the CS-718. The two tubes on the sides have a color rotation at both the top and bottom providing contrasting colors that make the lighting almost come alive.
