Temperature Test

The temperature of the core is pulled from MSI Afterburner with the max reading used after a completed run off 3DMark Vantage and the Performance preset.

On the temperature side of thing the MSI HD 7970 Lightning does very well at idle. Under load, though, we can see the card warms up. That comes as no surprise, though, as we pump so much extra voltage through the card for all that wicked performance.
