Straight away we see some fantastic performance out of the HD 7870 which puts it ahead of so many other cards including the GTX 580 when it comes to the Performance Preset. Moving to the higher resolution Xtreme preset we see it fall a bit further back and fall behind the GTX 580, but overall this is an extremely strong showing out the gate.
