Temperature Tests

 

 

The temperature of the core is pulled from MSI Afterburner with the max reading used after a completed run off 3DMark Vantage and the Performance preset.

Out of the box the HD 6990 4GB really isn't that hot a running card considering we've got these two power hungry GPUs sharing only a single fan. AMD have clearly put some thought into the cooling solution.
