- Benchmark: measures the performance
- Info: shows detailed information
- Health: checks the health status by using SMART

HD Tune Pro gives us accurate read, write and access time results and for the last couple of years has been gaining popularity amongst reviewers. It is now considered a must have application for storage device testing.

Read Tests

The Samsung controller found in the Patriot Torqx M28 does a really good job in keeping the reads level and as you can see here the drive performs very well across the entire range.

Write Tests

The STR write speed is a little bumpy but the lowest dips are few and far between. The M28 has an average write speed of just under 150MB/s which is very fast for a product in this price range.
