MSI KT3 Ultra ARU Motherboard Review - Benchmarks - Test System and Sandra

Motherboards, motherboards, motherboards... So many of them are being released on what almost seems like a daily basis these days. Both Intel and AMD processor platforms, at late, have gone through a load of chipset changes, one of the latest chipsets for the AMD Athlon is VIA's KT333, which brings us to today's review. Cameron "Sov" Johnson checks out the MSI KT3 Ultra ARU motherboard which is based on the KT333, bringing DDR-333 to the Athlon. Does it carry the usual tradition of MSI quality and overclockability? Video Card: Leadtek GF3 Ti500

Drivers:Nvidia Det3 rev 28.32

 

Software Used: Sisoft Sandra 2002, 3Dmark2000, 3Dmark2001, PCMark 2002 Pro. Quake 3 Arena, Aquanox, Star Trek Armada, Max Payne, Star Trek Voyager Elite Force Star Trek Armada 2.

 

Synthetic System Benchmarks - Sandra 2002

 

SiSoft Sandra (the System ANalyser, Diagnostic and Reporting Assistant) 2001 is a synthetic windows benchmark that features different tests used to evaluate different PC subsystems.

 

 

 

 

As per normal, we see KT3 Ultra ARU just about even on this setup. MSI and EPoX are neck and neck, even in the memory benchmarks.
