it’s not very often that we get cases sent to us at TweakTown to review, in fact this is our first computer case review. This is mainly because of the cost of shipping from the USA to Australia, the USA being where most cases are manufactured or distributed from. However, Todd from CoolerGuys was kind enough to send us one of their new "value" overclockers mid-tower ATX cases called the Wind Tunnel Plus to have a look at. This stylish and solid case is designed for the value market with overclockers in mind. The case features two stunning (professional) looking blowholes which have been laser cut to fit two high speed Sunon 92mm case fans & grills. To allow for complete air circulation, one high speed Sunon 80mm case fan is position below the 3.5" drive bays which moves air around that area of the case. In addition, CoolerGuys include a "free" slot cooler which blows air out (of the case) in any expansion slot, usually the slot below the graphics card as it is the expansion card which generates the most heat. In total, this case pushes 184 CFM (Cubic Feet per Minute) of air in a surprisingly quiet manor considering the amount of fans and CFM they generate. Here is a shot (on an angle, they aren’t position this way on the side of the case, as you will see further below) of the sexy blowholes, aren’t they fantastic!
Mmmm! Not only do they look good, they actually perform well too...
What You Get
Here is a list of what the DIY case kit contains, at least what I received via UPS in the mail several weeks ago from CoolerGuys in a big safe packaged strong cardboard box:

The case and kit is designed to be DIY, meaning the case comes unassembled and needs to be assembled by yourself (or a professional if need be) which is fun considering the ease of the installation process which is made so by CoolerGuys due to all the included screws (more than you’ll ever need) and online installation guide, which can be read here! I allowed around 4 hours to install the case and computer components properly, this is just a guide, if you were in a rush it could be done in an hour. No instructions were needed, everything is straight forward enough.
