The Card

Checking out the card, we can see that an aftermarket cooler is in use here. We have a big fan that hovers just above the core with a number of fins coming out the side.

We can also see some heat-pipes coming out of the bottom and the top of the card to help move the heat away from the core as fast as possible.

As you would expect, we have a single PCI Express power connector at the back of the card and a single SLI connector located at the top. What the card also has is the bracket across the top of the card to prevent it from bending in transport whilst also protecting the SLI connector. Personally we think it just looks cool.

The I/O department doesn't hold any surprises with the two Dual link DVI connectors and a single TV-Out port. We can also see here that the card is of course a dual-slot one thanks to the larger fan being installed.

Specifications

As we mentioned, the card is of course an overclocked variant. The core has been increased from 650MHz to 700MHz and the memory gets a nice increase from 1800MHz to 2200MHz. Not too shabby at all; we'll have to see how it fairs in the ringer today.
