Moving along to CPU usage and we can see that when reading a BR disc it's at a mere 1%. Moving to the DVD, we see the Lite-On drive does use twice the amount. However 12% isn't anything major and with the power of today's processors you wouldn't notice it on your system.

 

 

Again when comparing the DVD to DVD we can see that the Line-On is a little slower than the Pioneer, while the BR media is quicker than the DVD in the DX-401S but still a little slower than the DVD in the DVR-212.
