The Card
With the package out the way it’s time to check out the card which is just as light as the package. We have a small cooler that sits at the back of the card and carries with it a little heatsink/fan combination.
The heatsink/fan also manages to cool the memory on the front. With no Crossfire connectors or external power connectors needed to run the card, there isn’t a whole lot to it.
Getting into the I/O side of things, this is the first point where we see Diamond has mixed it up a bit. Outside of the standard DVI and VGA connector we also have a HDMI port. You can see that the HDMI port does come at the cost of your standard TV-Out port, though, hence the reason for the lack of cables in the bundle.
Specifications
Specs wise, the HD 3650 from Diamond carries with it a 725MHz core clock while our 1GB of GDDR2 memory comes in at 1000MHz DDR. The HD 3650 carries with it a 128-bit memory bus and the usual DirectX 10 support that we see on all graphics cards these days.
