The Card

With the box out the way it’s time to check out the card, and clearly the stand out point is the giant cooler that sits in the middle of the card.

While there are no memory sinks we can see that the fan covers most of the memory, and with the fin design the air will get pushed over the memory without any issues. It might not look like it but the cooler is a dual slot one, so just make note of that if you’re expecting a single slot card.

We have our normal connectors hovering around the board; the back gives us a single PCI Express power connector while the top of the card gives us an SLI connector for if you’re thinking about getting two of these cards.

The I/O department doesn’t provide anything too out of the ordinary. Apart from our two DVI connectors we have a single TV-Out connector located at the top of the card.

Specifications

With the card not being a TOP model we find ourselves with the reference clocks of 650MHz on the core, 1625MHz on the shader clock and 1800MHz DDR on the 512MB of GDDR3 memory, as you can see in the picture below.
