The Package

Like most mid-range ASUS offerings, we find ourselves with a more normal sized box. It’s a pretty standard line-up with the brand mentioned across the top and the model mentioned across the bottom. We can also see the HDMI logo to the right of the box.

We can also see that the card comes with 512MB of GDDR3 memory, offers HDCP compliancy, comes with GamerOSD (a feature only available on ASUS offerings) and of course has full support for PCI Express 2.0.

We can also see that a DVI to HDMI adapter is included in the box and the Glaciator Fansink is included on the card which is an exclusive cooler for ASUS cards.

Moving over to the back we find ourselves with a bit of information on the exclusive applications that are included in the ASUS package along with some of the features and the system requirements.

Inside the box we find ourselves with a Molex to PCI E power connector, component out cable and DVI to VGA cable. We have another cable that is designed to carry sound to the graphics card if you choose to use the included DVI to HDMI adapter.

The software side of things doesn’t give a whole lot to get excited about; paperwork wise we have a setup guide for the graphics card and another about the HDMI adapter. The CD department gives us a driver CD and another CD that has the manual in a multitude of languages.
