TweakTown uses a different method for testing CPU heatsinks which allows for an even playing field across all product tests. We feel that by using the same ambient temperature and strict lab-like testing procedures we are able to accurately compare one product to another. The performance is right about where I figured it would be. The interesting part is that the TX2 performed better than the Sphere even though the Sphere costs nearly twice as much. Still, the TX2 is not going to cool a high-end CPU but on the low-end it should do just fine.

 

 

There is nothing special on the acoustic level results, the Cooler Master TX2 can get pretty noisy.
