Introduction

While we see a fair few ECS motherboards here at TweakTown, graphics cards tend to be few and far between from the company. It seems though that the wait may have been worth it with the release of a passively cooled 8800GT.

The passive market continues to heat up, pun intended! People want power but simply don’t want the noise that high end cards generally carry with it. While AMD and NVIDIA continue to work on their cooling solutions there simply isn’t anything that is going to beat a passively cooled card.

Let’s hope that the wait between graphics cards from ECS was worth it as we now move onto the package.
