Like you probably expected, the card uses the default cooler which literally takes up the whole front of the card. There’s nothing to see but the plastic cover and small fan.
Inno3D have gone for a bit of gold writing on the cooler to mention the model, brand and the fact that it’s overclocked. The card looks great on a whole; there really is only so much you can do with a stock cooler though.
Hidden towards the rear of the card we have a single PCI Express power connector. Continuing to move around the card we also find a single SLI connector sitting at the top of the card. What this means is that it doesn’t look like the card will support “TRI” SLI due out later this year or early next.
Finally moving to the I/O department there isn’t a whole lot to see; we have our standard Dual DVI connectors of which both support up to 2560 x 1600 along with the single TV Out port. Like all reference cooled 8800GT offerings the card is only a single slot design.
Talking Spec
The standard 8800GT comes in with a core clock of 600MHz and a memory clock of 1800MHz DDR on the 512MB of DDR3. Inno3D bump this up with their OC model; giving us a core clock of 650MHz, 1650MHz shader clock and memory clock of 1900MHz DDR. Whilst not a huge overclock, this should be enough for us to see a decent boost in performance.
