Performance Testing

Our performance testing today was completed on our notebook with Windows Vista installed. It has 1GB DDR SDRAM and a 2GHz Pentium M processor. We compared the flash drive to a generic 1GB drive we had from SanDisk as well as our portable USB 2.5” HDD to see just how well things turn out.

Compared to our SanDisk drive, the Apacer is a bit faster and not all that far behind our USB HDD. Since the flash drive is able to work at just about the same speed as the interface of USB 2.0, the HDD doesn’t have much over it.
