After checking out an overclocked variant recently, Shane now sees how a stock clocked 8800GT fairs against the rest.

High Quality AA and AF

Our high quality tests let us separate the men from the boys and the ladies from the girls. If the cards weren't struggling before they will start to now.

3DMark06

We can see the clear gains an overclocked card gives us here under 3DMark06 with AA and AF turned on. The 8800GT does continue to really take advantage over the AMD offerings when it comes to AA and AF.

Half Life 2 (Episode One HDR)

We again see the overclocked MSI getting some good gains over the ASUS stock offering, but at 160+ FPS averages you're not going to notice a difference.

Prey

Small gains can be seen here for the overclocked part, but nothing major. Big gains all round from the 8800GT compared to the 2900 series and the 8800GTS.
