MSI have had to use quite a large box for this particular card due to the added radiator. While we are not usually a fan of these boxes we can completely understand why MSI are using one this size to house the water cooled 8800 GTX.
The front of the box is pretty standard; it gives us the model along with the main features the card has to offer. We can also see that on the bottom right corner mention of Company of Heroes being included within the package.
Turning the box over we have some more details on what the core of the card offers along with an explanation on the DOT technology MSI implemented and the dual-link DVI support.
Moving to the package we have our driver CD and some paperwork, most people might find themselves checking out the quick install guide but it really is not necessary. Setup is no different from a standard video card bar the mounting of the radiator. Also on a quick note, while COH is not in the picture here and did not come with our sample card, MSI Australia has assured us that the game does come with the card locally.
Moving to the cables we have a pretty standard line up, two DVI to VGA connectors, two Molex to PCI Express connectors, a single S-video cable, and a TV-out to Component/S-video cable. Everything you need to get the card up and running.
Overall the package is pretty decent, the inclusion of a more up to date game like Company of Heroes is a nice bonus and everything you need is included, too often these days we see these big fancy cards with overclocked core and memory and we get nothing more than a driver CD in the package. It is nice to see that MSI have done something a bit different and chosen to include a full version game in the monster bundle.
