The Package

The box design is very creative and very different from anything which we’ve seen in the past. Lots of little holes find us squishing our face up against the box to see what the card looks like inside.

Getting past the dots on the box we can continue to look around and see what we have. The top right corner lets us know that we are using a silent Arctic Cooling solution. It’s also part of the iChiLL series and comes with a full version game called Race by Eidos. Finally we have a sticker that gives us a run down on the card, core, clock speeds and more, which is nice to see for a change.

Turning the box over we have a run down on what exactly nVidia and the 7900 series offer along with a few logos here and there. There’s a bit of a gap on the box, a bit of reshuffling could have been done and a picture of the card could have been placed on it, the general feeling though we get is that the same box is used for all the iChiLL cards with only the front sticker changing.

We’re feeling a little light in the world of cables but with that said we have to admit that everything we needed to get up and running is included. We have a PCI Express power connector, DVI to VGA connector, HDTV (Component) out and a RCA out.

Included is of course our very stand and very boring user manual along with a driver CD but as always, you shouldn’t even bother inserting in your system as you should be downloading the latest drivers online. On the exciting side of things we have Race: The WTCC (Would Touring Car Championship) Game and stickers. We love stickers, they are cool!

The package is overall great - nice box design with plenty of information, all the needed cables, full version game and STICKERS!! You couldn’t ask for much more when it comes to a graphics card that moves away from the norm. There is nothing worse than when a company releases a funky overclocked version or different cooler, though continue to give you a plain old bundle without full version game or at least something special inside for added value.
