Introduction

It's been a long time since we have seen anything from XFX. The last time was when the 8800 series launched and when we checked out the GTX. While launch didn't see much in the way of pre-overclocked cards, as time has passed, nVidia have given the A-OK on it and with the release of the new GeForce 320MB GTS graphics card we see XFX launch some new factory pre-overclocked cards.

The particular variant we are looking at is the XXX edition which has the highest core and memory speed - the other OC version from XFX is the Extreme edition which has slightly higher clock speeds than the base model but lower than XXX edition. There is also of course a default (base) model although we have seen the performance of that from the MSI GTS 320MB product offering already.

Let's continue on and see what XFX have for us package wise before we check out the card and then later its performance. It is actually worth spending more on the factory overclocked edition or is it a waste of money?

Let's continue on and find an answer, shall we?
