Introduction

For years, most of us have known Mushkin as the makers of high performance memory modules. Competing with the likes of Corsair, OCZ and Crucial, Mushkin has made a name for themselves in this market segment. But don’t think that this is the only product line available from this company.

Today’s article will cover one of those other product lines, namely the power supply. Mushkin’s latest venture into this arena takes the form of what they are calling “Mushkin Enhanced”. It offers 580 watts of continuous power and a modular design that seems to be the direction most quality power supplies are moving towards of late.

So relax a bit as we delve deeper into this new kid on the block. We’ll tale a look at what it has to offer, how it handles a dual graphics system, and just see if it is worth consideration for spending out hard earned money on.
