ASUS today announced the Australian availability of Transformer Book Flip TP200, an exciting new thin and light addition to the innovative Transformer Book Flip family of convertible Windows 10 laptops.
Transformer Book Flip TP200 features the revolutionary reversible USB Type-C port for easy connection of peripherals, along with all the latest technology including the newest Intel® Dual-Core Celeron N3050 processor and pre-installed Windows 10.
Transformer Book Flip TP200 has a footprint smaller than a sheet of A4 paper, and is thinner, lighter and more compact than ever before - it's just 18.45mm thin and weighs a mere 1.2kg. With up to eight hours battery life, it's perfect for all-day on-the-go work or play.
The elegant Crystal Silver Transformer Book Flip TP200 has a tough metallic finish that is stylish and scratch-resistant. The innovative 360-degree hinge, with its robust multi-gear alloy steel construction, allows Flip TP200's high-quality IPS screen - with its wide viewing angles - to be flipped instantly to any angle for ultimate versatility. ASUS TruVivid display technology ensures crisp, clear colours even in bright environments.
Reversible USB Type-C port for faster, easier connections
Transformer Book Flip TP200 features the revolutionary new and reversible USB Type-C port that makes connecting devices so much easier, with no more time wasted working out which way to connect the cable! This port's compact design also helps keep the TP200 ultra-slim, and ensures much better usability. Fast USB 3.1 with speeds up to 5Gbit/s enables high-speed data transfers up to 10 times faster than USB 2.0. For maximum user convenience and compatibility, Transformer Book Flip TP200 also includes standard USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports, along with a micro HDMI port for connecting an external display.
Smaller, lighter, and easier to flip!
The 11.6-inch Transformer Book Flip TP200 is the thinnest, lightest and most compact Transformer Book Flip ever, featuring a footprint smaller than a sheet of A4 paper. With a thickness of only 18.45mm and weighing a feather-light 1.2kg, Flip TP200 is the perfect take-anywhere device that's always ready to go, and always to hand for work, for sharing or for simply relaxing.
Transformer Book Flip TP200 has a remarkable 360-degree, solidly-engineered multi-gear alloy steel hinge that gives users the freedom to rotate the screen freely for any mode they want. Laptop mode is ideal for serious work, tent mode makes sharing screen contents simple, and stand mode is an instant personal movie theater. The always-handy tablet mode is enhanced by Flip TP200's lightweight design and superb 8-hour battery life.
A special FlipLock feature ensures that the keyboard and touchpad are automatically disabled when Flip TP200's screen is rotated by more than 180 degrees, and they are enabled again when the screen is flipped back to laptop mode.
Enjoy Flip longer with all-day battery life
Transformer Book Flip TP200 is designed from the ground up for on-the-go users, and the up to 8-hour battery life ensures that they can spend more time working or relaxing using any of Flip 200's modes, and less time searching for power outlets.
Totally beautiful, totally practical
Transformer Book Flip TP200's Crystal Silver, tactile metal finish makes the laptop stands out from the crowd and will grab admiring looks anywhere. But it doesn't just look and feel great, the scratch-resistant texture is amazingly practical, too.
The 11.6-inch IPS display on Transformer Book Flip TP200 has wide viewing angles that ensures images never look washed out or lack contrast, even when viewing them from off-center. This makes Flip TP200 perfect for sharing screen contents with a group of people, in any of Flip T200's modes. ASUS TruVivid technology eliminates the air gap between the layers of glass in the display panel, reducing reflections and giving clearer, brighter images in bright environments.
