ASUS today announced the ET2301, an all-in-one desktop PC that's perfect for the varied needs of today's home users, thanks to a 23-inch Full HD display that can be positioned at almost any angle for comfortable 10-point multi-touch control. Powered by a 4th generation Intel Core desktop processor, the ET2301 AiO PC features IPS display technology for brilliant colors and wide viewing angles, ASUS SonicMaster Premium technology with a powerful array speaker and desktop Intel Thunderbolt connectivity.
Designed with touch in mind
Perfect for productivity and ideal for shared entertainment, the ASUS ET2301 AiO features a cleverly designed stand, hinged at the top and bottom to allow the screen to tilt smoothly through 95 degrees. In an upright position, the screen is at the perfect angle for traditional desktop PC use with a mouse and keyboard; when folded flat, it sits almost horizontally for comfortable 10-point multi-touch control with Windows 8. The 23-inch Full HD display is LED-backlit and IPS technology gives bright, vibrant color with 178-degree wide viewing angles, so images stay clear, even when seen from the side.
ET2301 features the latest 4th generation Intel Core i5 and i7 desktop processors with across-the-board improvements in multi-tasking and energy efficiency, for cool, quiet and quick performance with even the most demanding productivity software. NVIDIA GeForce GT 740M graphics ensures incredible performance with the latest DirectX 11 games and NVIDIA 3D Vision technology adds a new dimension of enjoyment to games, movies, photos and YouTube videos.
Best-ever All-in-One audio
The ASUS ET2301 AiO delivers immersive virtual surround sound, without the clutter of desktop speakers, thanks to a powerful array speaker with internal woofer and optional desktop subwoofer. ASUS SonicMaster Premium technology takes entertainment to a new level, too. Premium audio hardware and professional-grade audio processing software ensures a rich and rewarding listening experience with all kinds of material.
ET2301 also features audio enhanced by the same professional tools heard on the world's most popular music, movies and video games, thanks to MaxxAudio Master by Waves, recipient of a Technical Grammy award.
Cutting-edge connectivity options
The ASUS ET2301 AiO features an array of cutting-edge connectivity options. 802.11ac Wi-Fi offers wireless data rates (867Mbit/s) approaching that of Gigabit Ethernet for turbo-charged file transfers and seamless HD video streaming, all without the inconvenience of network cables. USB 3.0 and Intel Thunderbolt ports support an ever-expanding range of next-generation, high-performance peripherals, while ASUS AiCharger II technology gives 50% faster USB recharging of smartphones and tablets, even when ET2301 is switched off.
The ET2301 also features exclusive ASUS technology for increased flexibility in households with more than one Windows-based PC. Device Share mode transforms the ET2301 into a sophisticated desktop dock by making its multi-touch display, speakers and USB peripherals available for use with a notebook PC over a simple HDMI and USB connection. ASUS Ai Crosslink makes it easy to share files with other Windows PCs over a USB cable connection, too - no network required.
